Workshop Facilitator
Alondra is a director, designer and educator from Morelos, Mexico, raised in the Twin Cities. Working across both theater and film, she has built a freelance career through art department roles including set design, prop design, set construction, set dressing, and as an art department PA. Since starting in 2021, she has contributed to 14 theater productions and 9 film projects, ranging from grant-funded shorts to locally produced feature films.
As a director, Alondra has helmed six productions, including an original play for the 2024 Minnesota Fringe Festival, and most recently directed alongside Lelis Brito on "Los Profanadores De La Calle Arena" with Teatro del Pueblo. She is drawn to the tactile craft of building visual stories by hand. Alondra currently balances freelance design work with her roles as a full-time high school theater director and sex educator.

What is the refund policy?

7+ days before: Full refund of tuition.
Less than 7 days before: no refund. You can offer your spot to another person. Please contact us and share their contact info.
Instead of a refund, students may apply tuition toward another course in the same calendar year.
Where do workshops take place?

All workshops take place virtual through Google Meets. You will receive a link and additional information one week prior to the first session. Participants need access to a computer with camera and microphone.
Can anyone participate in the workshops?

Our workshops are affinity spaces for Black, Indigenous, and people of color 18 years old or older.
